Day 1
Welcome aboard your exciting tour of South America with Rio Carnival
Welcome to Rio de Janeiro. On arrival proceed to your hotel and check-in on your own. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (D)
Note: The standard check-in time at the hotel is 1500 hrs.

Day 2
Visit statue of Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana beach.
Today, start your day by taking a cog-wheel train up to the Corcovado Mountain to visit the iconic statue of Christ the Redeemer. Later, proceed on a guided city tour of Rio, drive through downtown Rio, passing by the Maracana Stadium, Metropolitan Cathedral and many other sights. Later in afternoon we visit the world famous Sugar Loaf Mountain which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Get a unique experience in the cable car while going up to the mountain. Also visit the famous Copacabana Beach and the downtown area. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (B, D)

Day 3
Day at Leisure. Evening Experience World Famous RIO Carnival
Today, spend the morning at leisure exploring this vibrant city. You can visit the world famous Copacabana Beach. Later, proceed to enjoy the Rio Carnival. Enjoy the spectacle from the Grandstand (Reserved Seating). Watch the biggest show on Earth, the Carnival Samba School Parade in Rio’s Sambodrome. This incredible cultural event is characterized by its freedom of expression, and creative and fun atmosphere represented through samba school parades, floats, carnival balls, and street carnival. The experience will leave a lifelong memory.

Day 4
Day at Leisure or opt for Optional Tours
Today, spend the morning at leisure exploring this vibrant city.

OPTIONAL: Historic City Tour Rio With Selaron Stairs – 4 Hours
You will be picked up at your hotel by your private guide and transferred tour to Praça XV, that has its name in honor of the date on which Brazil was proclaimed a Republic on November, 15th, 1889. Still today many impressive monuments remain in its neighborhood, particularly churches and old buildings. They include the Imperial Palace, which is now a cultural center with restaurants, temporary exhibitions and musical performances; Carmelite Convent, today the Candido Mendes College; the Pyramid Fountain, sculpted by Mestre Valentim in 178; the Church of the Third Order of Carmel, dating back of the 17th century; the Teles Arch, the last colonial arches in Rio; the church of Lapa dos Mercadores, where is located the oldest bell in the city; the Tiradentes Palace, today house of Legislative Assembly with the statue of Brazil’s Independence martyr Tiradentes gracing its portico; and the church of San John. At the end we will stop at the famous Selaron stairs for pictures. Overnight in Rio de Janeiro. (B, D)

Day 5
Fly to Iguassu.
Today, we drive to airport to board your flight to Iguassu. Iguassu is famous for its stunning falls, a total of 275 waterfalls make up the Iguassu Falls, which are the widest and most imposing waterfalls on earth. Later you have some free time to explore the city on your own.

Day 6
Visit Iguassu Falls from Argentinean side.
Today, we visit the Argentinean side of the Iguassu Falls. We start with a short train ride that leads us to the trails. Later a walk along the catwalks, some 1200 meters over the islands, takes you to enjoy the most spectacular sight: the Devil’s Throat Fall.

Day 7
Visit Iguassu Falls from Brazilian Side. Fly to Buenos Aires
Today, we take a trip to the Brazilian side of the falls. We walk along a narrow 1,500m. path and along with the catwalk that goes very close to the bottom of the Devil’s Throat, from where you will enjoy breathtaking views over the Brazilian side of the falls. Later proceed to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. On arrival, proceed to the hotel and check in Overnight in Buenos Aires. (B, D)

Day 8
Guided city tour of Buenos Aires. Enjoy an exciting Tango show with dinner.
Today, enjoy guided city tour of this beautiful city. See the symbol of the city: the obelisk on avenida 9 de Julio, visit Plaza de Mayo and Plaza San Martín. Drive through historical and elegant neighborhoods like La Boca, San Telmo, Montserrat, Palermo and Recoleta. We will also see financial and commercial areas and a Football Stadium. Later in the evening you will be taken for the glamorous Tango Show with dinner - a musical extravaganza with poetical, entertaining and touching edges. Overnight in Buenos Aires. (B, D)

Day 9
Half Day Tigre Delta Tour.
Today, proceed on half day excursion to Tigre Delta tour. Located only 30 km north of Buenos Aires, the city of Tigre is the gateway to the exotic delta of the Paraná River, a vast stretch of subtropical forest which holds thousands of small islets. Upon arrival we take you on Orientation tour of Tigre and later we visit to the magnificent Neo-Gothic Cathedral, built in the XIX century in San Isidro. Next, take a boat ride through the Delta, view the old mansions that contrast with today’s wooden houses built on pilings. Also, see yacht and rowing clubs and become acquainted with the typical lives of a population that evolved in community with the river. Later, we drive back to Buenos Aires. Overnight in Buenos Aires. (B, D)

Day 10
Bid farewell.
Today, proceed to the airport on your own as your memorable tour comes to an end. Please do spare a few moments of your valuable time to write and share with us your wonderful experience. (B)

Visa Requirements
You must be in possession of a Multiple Entry Argentina visa & Double entry Brazil Visa . The cost of these visas is not included in your package tour price. It would be best to check with your travel agent and the consulates nearest to you for advice and information. Please ensure that your travel documents are ready in time for departure.

Ticketing Requirements:
To participate on this tour, you need to be in possession of valid air tickets for travel within South America for the following sectors: Rio de Janeiro - Iguassu - Buenos Aires. It is mandatory to purchase these tickets through SOTC. Confirmed air reservations for these sectors have already been made by us. The cost of this internal ticket is USD 775 per person which has to be paid at the time of booking the tour.

NOTE
• Yellow fever vaccination is compulsory. There is a possibility that your Tour Manager could change in between the tour.
• As a third person in a Triple room, no extra bed or cot will be provided. Instead a room with two queen beds will be provided.
• Internal flights would be via flights with one stop.
• On days when you are taking internal flights, there is a possibility that we might provide packed meal in case the flight timing does not suit the meal time.
• All transfers and extensive sightseeing with entrance fees (as specified in the itinerary) by a deluxe air conditioned coach. Services of our Tour Manager or local representatives, while on tour.
• On some occasions, you may have to join another group in case your group does not have adequate members.
• A local representative or your coach driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
• All local taxes and services (Presently calculated as prevailing on 1st August 2024).
• A person below 12 years of age on date of return flight will be considered a child.
• A baby below 24 months of age on date of return flight will be considered an infant.
• Land surcharges applicable on certain departure dates.
• Kindly note that on certain departure dates the tour routing could change. In some tours, there is also a possibility that the tour could operate in reverse itinerary. However you will not miss any sightseeing or excursions that are mentioned in the itinerary. Please check with your sales representative for final details.
• Certain sightseeing and excursions may not operate on public holidays.
• In some cities, there is a possibility that you may have to wait at the airport (in the terminal as would have been informed to you before departure by your booking office) for multiple flight arrivals/departures of different groups.
• Group departures will be operated in Co-operation with Thomas Cook India Ltd & SOTC Travel Ltd.

Points to be noted
• It is advisable to book more than 45 days prior to the tour departure date as the internal ticket rate might increase closer to the departure date, resulting in an increase in the Tour cost
• The airfare is based on the existing fare structure (Presently calculated as prevailing on 1st August 2024). Any further increase in the airfare due to an increase in fuel price, change in government regulations, ticket taxes etc. charged by the airline will have to be borne by the passenger. We will not be held responsible for the same
• Any damage caused to the hotel rooms or coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers. We will not be liable for the same
• The management reserves the right to claim from the passengers, any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in the schedule of trains, flights, coach, cruise or other services
• We reserve the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursions advertised or substitute a hotel of similar class if deemed necessary
• The images used in this brochure are for representation purposes only
• A date change fee, as applicable, will be levied on passengers who change their date of travel
• For the convenience of our passengers, we may sometimes will have to amend the itinerary. However all services will remain the same
• The company reserves the right to alter the order of the itinerary. The same will be informed to the client before departure
• Due to Trade Fairs and conventions in the cities, it is possible that the hotel accommodation provided would be outside the city. The same will be informed in advance
• Passengers can board the tour from the hub city. Those boarding from any other city can do so, however all expenses to/from the hub city is to be borne by the passengers
• Attractions in the theme parks may not operate/may change/entry restricted/ closed without notice
• Other applicable taxes will be extra
• The company shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, injury, accident, death, delay, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out of the tour arrangement due to weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expenses must be borne by the passenger
