DAY 01
Arrive in Auckland. On arrival at Auckland airport take the shuttle transfers to the hotel and check in. Standard Check in time-1500 hours. Overnight in Auckland. Note: Due to late evening arrival there will be no dinner. Today there will be no tour manager. Tour Manager will meet you on Day 2 at Queenstown hotel (D)

DAY 02
Flight to Queenstown Today proceed to the airport for your flight to Queenstown. (Internal flight not included) Arrive at Queenstown and proceed to the hotel for check-in. Overnight in Queenstown (B, L, D)

DAY 03
Milford Sound Cruise Today proceed to discover the beauty of Milford sound on a full day trip, journey through alpine valleys and fjordland. Drive via Te Anau, Eglington Valley and Homer Tunnel to arrive at Milford Sound. Next board the cruise and sail to the mouth of the Tasman Sea. Overnight at Queenstown. (B, LL, D)

DAY 04
Jet boat ride – Gondola ride Today morning at leisure or free for optional activities like skydiving or Bungy Jump. (Both Optional activities to be booked on Day 1). Later proceed for Jet boat ride – experience thrill, epic 360° spins and high-speed action. Next proceed to the steepest Skyline Gondola ride in southern hemisphere and enjoy panaromic view of Queenstown. Enjoy leisure time at lake Wakatipu. Overnight at Queenstown. (B, LL, D)

DAY 05
Arrowtown. Kawarau Bungy site -Wanaka – Puzzling world - Onto Franz Josef / Fox Glacier Today proceed to Arrowtown, a picturesque town set in a river valley, famous for its boutiques and galleries. Next drive to Kawarau Bungy Jumping point to view the worlds first commercial bungy jump site in Queenstown and also have an option to experience the jump (Optional: Bungy jump activity to be booked on day 1). Later proceed to Wanaka, visit Puzzling World featuring outdoor maze, optical illusion rooms and a puzzle café. Later drive to Franz Josef OR Fox Glacier. Overnight at Fox OR Franz Josef. (B, L, LD)

DAY 06
Glacier Lookout Point. Monteith’s Brewery . Onto Christchurch. Today morning you have the option to take Helicopter ride on the glacier. (Optional: Helicopter ride to be booked on day 1). Next proceed to the lookout point to view the Glacier (weather permitting). Later drive to Greymouth visit Monteith’s Brewery. While you’re here, take a short, guided brewery experience tour to learn about all the wonders of craft beer and taste a glass of local beer. Later drive to Christchurch. Overnight at Christchurch. DAY 07
Panoramic tour of Christchurch. Antarctic Centre. Flight to Auckland/Rotorua Today, proceed for a Panoramic tour of Christchurch, see Cardboard cathedral. Next proceed to International Antarctic Centre experience an Antarctic storm simulation, see the little penguins. Next proceed to the airport for your flight to Auckland. (Internal flight not included) Upon arrival drive towards Rotorua. Overnight at Rotorua. (B, PL, D)

DAY 08
Sheep show and Farm Tour at Agrodome. Te Puia Thermal Reserve + Maori Cultural show Today proceed for the Sheep Shearing Show and Farm Tour at Agrodome where you can see live demonstrations featuring sheep shearing and dog herding. Here you also get opportunity to feed animals. Next visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve for a chance to see the ‘Pohutu’ Geyser. Next see Haka at Te Puia a powerful, Māori cultural performance featuring rhythmic chanting, intense facial expressions, tongue protrusions, and powerful body movements. Overnight in Rotorua. DAY 09
Waitomo Glow-worm Caves- Sky Tower and Panoramic City tour Today proceed to Waitomo Glow Worm Caves – a magical underground world where thousands of tiny, bioluminescent glowworms create a "starry night" effect. See the stalactites, stalagmites, and underground river in the limestone caves. Next drive to Auckland, do an orientation city tour, drive pass Waitemata Harbour, see the Harbour bridge, photo stop at Bastion point. Later visit Sky Tower for a view of the city. Overnight in Auckland. (B, LL, D)

DAY 10
Return Home This morning after breakfast or a boxed breakfast, check out and take the shuttle transfer to the airport, where your memorable tour comes to an end. Do spare a few minutes to fill in the feedback form and hand it over to your Tour Manager. Your valued suggestions will be most appreciated. Arrive home with pleasant memories of tour. (B).

Visa Requirements

You must be in possession of a valid Single entry visa for New Zealand. The cost of this visa is not included in your package tour price. It would be best to check with your travel agent and the consulates nearest to you for advice and information. Please ensure that your travel documents are ready in time for departure.

Ticketing Requirements: 

For this tour you would require confirmed air tickets for the following sectors: Mumbai / Auckland / Queenstown (Surface) Christchurch / Auckland / Mumbai. It would be advisable to check with your SOTC sales officer or local travel agent for ticketing

Maximum number of occupants in a hotel room is 3 guests.
Standard Hotel check-in time will be 1500 hours and check out at 1000 hrs.
In winter, Milford Sound is operational subject to weather and road conditions.

Airport to group hotel and group hotel to airport transfers are included for guests arriving between 07 AM to 09 PM on the arrival and departure day only. For transfers not falling within these timings a surcharge may apply. International and Internal flights are not included. Kindly check with us for more details. Early check-in and late check-out are not included.

Hotels

This Package does not offer city center hotels. Hotels will be located in the airport area or on the outskirts.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels offer roll-away beds & room size will be the same as double room.
For Child with bed: At times hotel don’t have enough roll-away beds, in that case they might give a double & a separate single room.
A person 12 years & below is considered child & above 12 years, an adult.
Hotel rooms may not be air conditioned / air cooled nor will fans be provided. Air conditioning / cooling in hotels are set as per weather conditions.
Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
Due to international events & trade fairs you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
Any damages caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during the stay shall be payable by the passengers.
We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.

Hotels in certain cities are not offering buffet breakfasts due to health regulations. If the same does not change by the time the tours operate, we will organize breakfasts at Indian / local restaurant.

Coaches

Coaches are an important part of your journeys & we request our guests to keep the coach clean.
Due to hygiene factors it is not permitted to use toilets in the coach. However, we will make comfort stops during long drives.
Eating & drinking is not permitted in the coach.
Due to limited boot space in the coach we suggest you to carry one check-in bag & one hand bag per person only
Due to parking regulations & designated drop off & pick up points it is not possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Tour Manager / Local Representative will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible for a photo stop.
Coaches do not have a wheelchair access. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.

Coaches are forbidden inside most of the historic city centers; to preserve them from damage caused by pollution & getting overcrowded. Most of your sightseeing will be done by local buses & by foot in the historic & heritage centers.

Meals

Meals are pre–set & a–la carte is not possible.

On certain Days packed lunch will be provided.

Sightseeing

Due to logistical reasons certain departures may have amendments or reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions will remain the same.
Generally, you will have to walk at sightseeing places, amusement parks & at the airports sometimes for a long distance; however the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Manager. It is advisable to carry good pair of comfortable sports shoes. The Tour Manager & the Driver will do their best to get you as close to the Monuments as possible.
Every Site / Monuments has its own set of rules & regulations. We need to respect this & ensure that we follow the same.

All our visits are booked in advance to avoid delays, at the same time there may be delays caused due to overcrowding, local regulations, security check etc.

General

On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
Security alerts & random closures might affect the itinerary.
Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts & bag snatching. SOTC will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair & should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is able to provide assistance to the disabled client.
SOTC shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine & any other cause whatsoever & all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delay or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
The Tour Manager & the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e. meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour
In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.

Weather

City General Weather (April - September)
Auckland Mild, wet winter. April is late Autumn/mild. Winter (Jun-Aug) is the wet time of year, with mild days ( 12−15∘C/54-59∘F) and cool nights. September is cool/mild Spring.
Rotorua Cool to cold. April is a crisp Autumn. Winter is cold, with frosts likely; temperatures are cooler than Auckland. Great time for hot pools! September starts to warm up.
Christchurch Cool to cold and often frosty. April is pleasant Autumn with clear days. Winter (Jun-Aug) is cold and dry with frequent frosts, chilly days ( 7−12∘C/45-54∘F), and sometimes snow. September is cool Spring.
Queenstown Cold and snowy. April is beautiful Autumn with cool days. Winter (Jun-Aug) is peak ski season with cold, snowy conditions and temps often below 0∘C (32∘F) at night. September is still often cold and great for spring viewing.
Franz Josef Cool and wet. Rainfall year-round, cold in the winter. Temperatures are milder than Queenstown or Christchurch due to proximity to the coast, but expect rainy days.

You can expect rain anytime in New Zealand as it does not have specific rainy season. Hence It is advisable to carry an umbrella.
