You must be in possession of a valid multiple entry Australia visa. The cost of this visa is not included in your package tour price. It would be best to check with your travel agent and the consulates nearest to you for advice and information. Please ensure that your travel documents are ready in time for departure.

Day 1. Airport-to-group hotel and group hotel to airport transfers are included in for NRI guests arriving between 07 AM to 09 PM on the arrival and departure day only. For transfers not falling within these timings a surcharge may apply. International and Internal flights are not included in for NRI passengers. Kindly check with us for more details. Early check-in and late check-out are not included.
Hotels
Most hotels in Australia and New Zealand have Twin beds. The double bed will be Queen size and not King size.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.
For Child with bed: At times hotel don’t have enough roll away beds, in that case they might give a double and a separate single room.
A person 11.99 years and below is considered a child and 12 years and above, an adult.
Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
Due to international events and trade fairs in Australia and New Zealand such as the Air Show, marathons, music festivals, ice skating championships etc., you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
Any damage caused to the hotel rooms / Coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers.
We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
Some cities don’t have buffet breakfast in hotels. If this continues when tours begin, we will provide breakfast or take the groups to an Indian/local restaurant.
It is important to note that hotel rooms in Australia may be more compact / smaller in size than what you are accustomed to.
Coaches
Coaches are an important part of your journeys & we request our guests to keep the coach clean.
Due to hygiene reasons, it is not permitted to use toilets in the coach. However, the tour manager will make comfort stops during long drives.
Eating & drinking is not permitted on the coach.
One check-in bag and one handbag per person only, due to limited boot space on the coach.
In major Australia and New Zealand cities, there are parking restrictions for coaches, and it may not be possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible for a photo stop.
Coaches are non-wheelchair compliant. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.
Meals
Meals are pre–set & a–la carte is not possible.
On certain Days packed lunch/breakfast will be provided.
You can safely drink the tap water in Australia and New Zealand. Please remember to bring your own water bottle, as water bottles are not provided on the tour.
In few cities, you have to walk to the restaurants for meals.
Note: Packed lunches, if applicable, will be Jain / vegetarian. In certain places, there is a possibility of providing cash out to the passengers instead of packed lunches.
Sightseeing
On certain departures, we may sometimes amend / reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions will remain the same.
Panoramic /Orientation tours are scenic drives conducted primarily from the coach. Only specific pre-determined locations are visited on foot or include a photo stop
Guests should note that the itinerary requires significant walking at various sightseeing places, amusement parks and at the airports sometimes for long distance; however, the same will be timely instructed by the Tour Manager. It is advisable to carry a good pair of comfortable sports shoes. The tour manager and the driver will do their best to get you as close to the monuments as possible.
Every Site / Monuments has its own set of rules & regulations. We need to respect this & ensure that we follow the same.
All our visits are booked in advance to avoid delays, at the same time there may be delays caused due to overcrowding, local regulations, security check etc.
Most of the tours in Australia and New Zealand will commence early and are generally scheduled to conclude in the early evening. These schedules are based on local tourism operating norms and coach hours. Furthermore, guests are advised that local establishments, including restaurants and retail stores, often operate with shorter evening hours than in other countries.
Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) Guided Tour Refund: If the tour is not operating due to an event or sports match, guests will receive a refund of AUD 30.
Access to the Star Observatory deck is subject to weather conditions. As this is a complimentary entry, no refunds will be issued if the deck is closed due to poor weather.
The viewing location for the Penguin Parade is allocated in Standard Seating Area.
General
For NRI customers visa fees, international flights, internal flights and insurance are not included.
On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
Arrival and Departure flights should be booked according to the group flight timings. In case there is any sightseeing involved on the first or last day of the itinerary to avoid missing any of the services. Please check with your sales officer for the group flight timings.
Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts and bag snatching. SOTC will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is able to provide assistance to the disabled client.
SOTC shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delays or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e., meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour.
All optional activities will have to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour. Payments to be made by cash in local currencies only. (Credit or Debit cards not accepted).
Optional tours are booked & paid on 100% non-refundable & non-cancellation policy.
In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.
