DAY 01
Welcome to Jordan- ‘The Holy Land’
Welcome to Amman, Jordan. Meet and assist by our airport representative, who will assist you through immigration and customs. Transfer to hotel & check in. Overnight in Amman.
Note Standard check-in time is 1500 hrs.

DAY 02
Proceed to Wadi Rum - known as the valley of the moons; enjoy a thrilling jeep tour of Wadi rum. Onto Petra.
Today, proceed to Wadi Rum - a valley cut into the sandstone and granite rock in southern Jordan known for its towering rock formations, slender valleys, and infinite skies (Distance 320km). Enjoy Jeep Safari at Wadi Rum. Later, transfer to Petra (102km). Overnight in Petra.

DAY 03
Explore Petra . Drive to Dead Sea.
Today, proceed to explore Petra. Take a buggy transfer and visit the Petra Treasury area – One of the 7 Wonders of the World. Proceed to the Dead Sea (200km), the lowest point on earth deep in the Jordan Valley. Evening is free to explore the hotel or enjoy a dip in the dead sea and enjoy the sunset. Check in at the hotel in Dead Sea
Overnight at Dead Sea.

DAY 04
Dead Sea –– Mt. Nebo – Amman
After breakfast, free time in Dead Sea. Proceed to Mt. Nebo - a sacred elevated ridge in Jordan, overlooking the Jordan River Valley and Dead Sea. Continue your tour of Amman, see the Citadel -Temple of Hercules ruins etc. Later, see the Roman Amphitheatre.
Overnight in Amman.

Depart Jordan
Chek out by 1000 hrs. Transfer to Amman airport. Depart from Amman Airport.

Visa Requirements:
You must be in possession of a Single Entry Visa for Jordan. The cost of this visa is not included in your package tour price. It would be best to check with your travel agent and the consulates nearest to you for advice and information.

Ticketing Requirements:
For this tour you would require confirmed air tickets to arrive into Amman and depart from Amman. It would be advisable to check with your SOTC sales officer or local travel agent for ticketing.

Important Note:
Standard Hotel check-in time will be 1500 hours and check out at 1000 hrs.

Starting your day early allows you to enjoy the sites while they are quieter and more comfortable.
2. Brisk Itineraries: Jordan is home to an incredible density of historical treasures. To help you experience as many of these wonders as possible, our daily schedules are designed to be efficient. While this means time at individual temples may be structured, it ensures you don't miss any of the highlights on your itinerary.

NRI passengers arrive in Jordan as per the departure dates above i.e. Day 1 Airport-to-group hotel and group hotel to airport transfers are included for NRI guests arriving between 07 AM and 09 PM on the arrival and departure day only. For transfers not falling within these timings a surcharge may apply. Early check and / or late check out is not included.

Important Notes:

Hotels
Most hotels in Jordan have Twin beds. The double bed will be Queen size and not King size.
As a 3rd person in a triple room, most hotels use rollaway beds and room size may be the same as the double room.
For Child with bed: At times hotel don’t have enough roll away beds, in that case they might give a double and a separate single room.
A person 11.99 years and below is considered a child and 12 years and above, an adult.
Functioning of Air cooling / Air conditioning in hotels is subject to official declaration of summer by the local authority.
Due to international events and trade fairs in Jordan such as the Eid holidays, Air Show, marathons, music festivals, etc., you may have to stay in hotels further away from the city.
Any damage caused to the hotel rooms / cruise cabins / Coach during your stay shall be payable by the passengers.
We also reserve the right to substitute a hotel / cruise of similar class if it is deemed advisable or necessary.
Some cities don’t have buffet breakfast in hotels. If this continues when tours begin, we will provide breakfast or take the groups to an Indian / local restaurant.
It is important to note that hotel rooms in Jordan may be more compact / smaller in size than what you are accustomed to.

Coaches
Coaches are an important part of your journeys & we request our guests to keep the coach clean.
Due to hygienic reasons, it is not permitted to use toilets on the coach. However, the tour manager will make comfort stops during long drives.
Eating & drinking is not permitted on the coach.
Due to limited boot space in the coach, we suggest you carry one check-in bag & one handbag per person only
In major Jordan towns and cities, there are parking restrictions for coaches, and it may not be possible to stop at all the places during the city tour. Tour Manager will try his/her best to stop coach wherever possible for a photo stop.
Coaches are non-wheelchair compliant. There are steps to board / alight from the coach.

Meals
Meals are pre–set & a–la carte is not possible.
On certain Days packed lunch/breakfast will be provided.
Water bottles will be provided by your guide and Tour Manager as per itinerary.
Certain meals are by walking during your tour.
Water is not included during any meals.

Sightseeing
On certain departures, we may sometimes amend / reverse the itinerary. However, all the services / inclusions will remain the same.
Panoramic / Orientation tours are scenic drives conducted primarily from the coach. Only specific, pre-determined locations are visited on foot or include a photo stop.
Guests should note that the itinerary requires early morning wake up calls, early morning flights, significant walking distances at various locations, including attractions, temples and airports. This is an inherent part of the tour experience. We recommend you bring a reliable, comfortable pair of sports shoes. Your Tour Manager and Driver will attempt to minimize walking by getting you as close to the entry points as regulations allow, but ultimate responsibility for navigating the walking portions rests with the guest.
Every Site / Monuments has its own set of rules & regulations. We need to respect this & ensure that we follow the same.
All our visits are booked in advance to avoid delays, at the same time there may be delays caused due to overcrowding, local regulations, security checks etc.
Most of the tours in Jordan will commence early and are generally scheduled to conclude in the early evening. These schedules are based on weather conditions, local tourism operating norms and coach hours. Furthermore, guests are advised that local establishments, including restaurants and retail stores, often operate with shorter evening hours than in other countries.

General
For NRI customers visa fees, international flights and insurance are not included.
For JD – Joining Direct customers international flights are not included.
If you are a JD or NRI passenger make sure your internal flights match the tour group's schedule if you want seamless transfers and guarantee you don't miss any sightseeing. No transfers can be arranged for different flight timings and no refunds for any missed sightseeing.
On some occasions you may have to join another group in case the group does not have adequate members.
A local representative or a driver may only be there to assist you during your initial part of the tour.
Arrival and Departure flights should be booked according to the group flight timings. In case there is any sightseeing involved on the first or last day of the itinerary, to avoid missing any of the services. Please check with your sales officer about the group flight timings.
Security alerts and random closures might affect the itinerary.
Please take extra care of your personal belongings while on the tour, every country you travel to is prone to thefts and bag snatching. SOTC will not be liable for any loss of belongings / baggage.
Disabled clients should carry their own wheelchair and should be accompanied by a qualified companion who is able to provide assistance to the disabled client.
SOTC shall not accept any liability or responsibility for any damages, loss, baggage loss, theft, injury, accident, death, breakdown or irregularity, which may occur in carrying out the tour arrangement, weather conditions, strikes, war, quarantine and any other cause whatsoever and all such loss or expense must be borne by the passengers. Insurance policies must be carried while on tour.
The management reserves the right to claim any additional expenses incurred due to delays or changes in schedules of train, airplane, bus, ship or other services.
The Tour Manager and the company reserves the right to amend the itinerary, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion advertised. For the convenience of our passengers, we will sometimes amend the itinerary. However, all the services will remain the same.
There are no refunds for any services i.e., meals, sightseeing etc. not utilized on your tour. Any tours or activities curtailed or cancelled due to weather or traffic conditions which are beyond the control of SOTC cannot be refunded.
All optional activities will have to be booked and paid to the Tour Manager on Day 01 of the tour. Payments to be made by cash in local currencies only. (Credit or Debit cards not accepted).
Optional tours are booked & paid on 100% non-refundable & non-cancellation policy.
Any optional tours not listed by SOTC on their website, Sim cards purchased from local guides are not a responsibility of SOTC as these will be considered a 3rd party transaction.
In case you decide to change the date of your return reservation once confirmed the exact amount payable to the airline will be advised once the same is confirmed.

Amman experiences mild autumns and cool winters, with comfortable daytime temperatures that make it an excellent base for sightseeing, cultural experiences, and excursions to Petra, Jerash, the Dead Sea, and Wadi Rum.
